Finished 5.5 x 8 in.
This project combines simple and elegant with and a bit of embroidery. I love the look of warm wool on cotton background, but if wool isn't your thing, then do it all in cotton. Even beginners can handle this hand embroidery, because I include a BIG layout image so you can see all my embroidery close up. And the embroidery is not difficult, just a bit of hand stitching using back stitching. The holly berries are felted wool, so they just need a french knot to lock them in place, because felted wool wont fray.
Inspired by old time, vintage Christmas décor. Super easy to make with just a bit of embroidery. Well written pattern includes enlarged layout and stitch guide so you can see the hand embroidery close up, and hand stitch diagrams. I assume nothing and explain everything, making this perfect for quilters of any skill level.
The antique looking wood clipboard? That is available too.
You'll need to hang it when ya get it finished, so why grab it now.
Our new clipboards are carefully handcrafted from reclaimed century old Iowa barn wood, no two clipboards are exactly the same making each one perfectly vintage with lots of character..
They have a sawtooth hanger securely mounted on the back so you can hang them on a wall OR stand on a shelf.
